Edward Stencel
Born in Detroit , raised in Dallas, St. Louis, and Detroit , Edward is currently dividing his time between Los Angeles and Kansas City. He has worked in the professional and independent film industry as a producer, director, and cinematographer for the past 7 years. His education includes a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and graduate film school at the University of Bristol, England were he graduated in film school at the University of Bristol, England were he graduated in 1993. In 1996 he started his own production company called Tilingo Productions, Inc. which helps produce other independent filmmakers works as well as his own. Some of his producing and directing credits include; short films "Bar Billiards", "UD95", "Two Buck Tuesday " and feature "touched". Edward also serves on the board of directors of the Kansas City Filmmakers Jubilee and is the director of the Indy Film Showcase which features screenings of independent films with their directors in attendance from around the country once a month in Kansas City.

In follow up to the bolexbrothers segment on Split Screen, Edward is working on a longer documentary on Dave Borthwick and his animation studio bolexbrothers.
